A way of seeing that comes from the land
GAIA was born in 2021, in architecture school, as a space to bring together design, photography and the way people inhabit and care for their places. Since then it has grown through design, building with natural materials, photography and community projects.
From architecture and construction we brought a way of thinking: observing before designing, understanding what is essential and walking through every stage of the process without losing sight of the idea that started it. Today we bring that same perspective to help you find, build and tell your brand's story.
We love walking alongside people and brands who choose to live simply, naturally and consciously, and who care more about humanity than about capital.

Cristina Álvarez Castro
I'm Cristina Álvarez, architect, project manager and creative designer.
My training in architecture taught me to understand the context first before designing within it. Over time, that way of working extended into brand identity, photography, creative direction and communication.
I'm especially drawn to projects built with intention: businesses that care about what they do, how they do it and the impact they want to leave.
GAIA was born to help those projects find a clear, authentic and visually coherent way of showing themselves to the world.
I don't believe in inventing a story for a brand. I believe in observing long enough to find the one that already exists.
